Wendell Christian Church has been worshipping together for over one hundred years and we want to start to grow our church alongside our growing community. Wendell has grown from 8,000 people to over 14,000 within the last five years and we are projected to add thousands more. We are searching for a dynamic pastor willing to give their time and energy to work with our leaders and revitalize our congregation. We hope to build our youth program back up and start discipleship classes. WCC wants to focus on fellowship and providing a welcoming atmosphere. Our buildings and properties are paid for and we enjoy hosting young people at our scout cabin and senior citizens programs.

Wendell Christian is less than half an hour from our beautiful state capital of Raleigh, two hours from the beach, and just hours from the mountains. Our area is adding not only homes but also shops and restaurants and our little downtown has become a hub for community festivals, parades, and just “hanging out.”

Our previous pastor has retired, so our Pastoral Search Committee is actively seeking a new pastor. The position is part-time. We are renovating our 3-bedroom ranch parsonage which is being offered as part of our benefits package. Click here for more information about Wendell Christian Church.
